LOKT started from a complaint. The moments that need coffee most are the ones that can't hold a cup: a 5am gate, mile 300, the third call in a row. Everything built for those moments had quietly stopped being coffee: synthetic caffeine, candy flavor, a can the size of a thermos.
So we set the standard before we set the name. If the caffeine didn't come out of a coffee bean, we weren't shipping it. A roast profile you could describe the way you'd describe an espresso: deep roast, dry cocoa, a light caramel edge. Lightly sweet, never candy. And no nicotine, in anything we make, ever. That one was never up for debate.

Caffeine from a pouch absorbs through the lining of your mouth, so most people feel it sooner than a sipped cup. Keep it in 20 to 40 minutes, then discard. One pouch is about half a strong cup. Count it toward your daily total.
