$59.99 is the biggest number on this site, so here is the division it rests on. One level 36g scoop at a time: you're not buying a bag, you're buying about 28 coffees.

- 1 bag · $59.99 $2.16 a coffee $0.108 a gram of protein
- 2 bags · $109.99 $1.98 a coffee $0.099 a gram of protein · or one of each flavor
- 3 bags · $149.99 $1.80 a coffee $0.090 a gram of protein · the lowest here
A protein latte at the coffee shop runs about $6 to $7. This is $2.16. The counter drink carries more protein, 27 to 29g against 20g, and more caffeine. It also costs about $0.21 to $0.26 a gram of protein. This costs $0.108, and you do not have to leave the house.
Two honest notes. A shelf-stable protein shake from a warehouse club is cheaper than this a gram and carries more protein. It also tastes like a protein shake. If price a gram is the only thing you are solving for, buy that.
And if you already own good beans and a tub of whey, doing it yourself is cheaper still. It is also the exact combination that clumps, which is why people keep having to ask how to add protein to coffee.
We divide by 27.78, not 28, everywhere we quote a price a coffee. The two cents are yours. Level, not heaped: a heaped scoop can carry 45g instead of 36g, which turns 28 coffees into 22 and $2.16 into $2.73. The scoop in the bag is the measure.

Rival figures are published prices for comparable protein drinks at the time of writing; they vary by brand, size and channel and they move with the market, so they are ranges and no brand is named. LOKT MIX figures are ours and are exact. One 1kg bag divided by one level 36g scoop is 27.78 coffees, which we call about 28, and every price a coffee is the rung total divided by 27.78 a bag: $59.99 is $2.16, $109.99 is $1.98, $149.99 is $1.80. Cost per gram of protein follows from the same division at 20g a coffee. Correct as of August 2026.

How do I make it?
How do I make it?
Iced: one level 36g scoop into 12 fl oz of cold water or milk, shake 15 to 20 seconds, pour over ice.
Hot: whisk the scoop into 3 fl oz of cool water until it is smooth, then top up with 9 fl oz of hot water. Ten seconds, and it pours clean. A 12 fl oz coffee either way.
Will it clump in hot coffee?
Will it clump in hot coffee?
Not with the method, and we would rather explain it than promise it away. Protein and hot liquid genuinely fight: whey unfolds above 65°C, and coffee sits at about pH 4.9, which is almost exactly where dairy protein loses its charge and drops out of solution.
Two things settle it. MIX is built on a complete milk protein rather than a bare whey isolate, because the casein fraction holds together at temperatures whey will not. And ten seconds of method: 3 fl oz of cool water first, whisked smooth, then top up with 9 fl oz of hot. Hydrated protein does not clump. Dry protein does.
Skip the slurry and you will get lumps, and so will every other protein on the market. The full explanation, chemistry and caveat, is on the product page →

Dark Mocha runs espresso-deep with dark cocoa body and a smooth caramel finish, rich without turning into dessert. Original Latte leads cocoa-and-caramel with roasted almond warmth and a clean finish. Both stay coffee-led.
How many coffees per bag?
How many coffees per bag?
About 28, one level 36g scoop each, from a 1kg resealable bag. Exactly, 1,000g divided by 36g is 27.78, and we divide by 27.78 rather than 28 everywhere we quote a price a coffee.
That makes $59.99 a bag $2.16 a coffee, two bags at $109.99 $1.98, and three bags at $149.99 $1.80. Per gram of protein, at 20g a coffee, that is $0.108, $0.099 and $0.090.
